Gamma Phi Beta
For over 140 years, Gamma Phi Beta has inspired women worldwide to "the highest type of womanhood." Established in 1874 at Syracuse University, the international organization is known as the first "sorority" and as one of the founders of the National Panhellenic Conference. With alumnae such as award-winning actress Kristin Chenoweth, sports reporter Alex Flanagan (ESPN, NFL, NBC), and former US Congresswoman Jennifer Dunn, Gamma Phi Beta sisters take the world by storm. Today, there are over 200,000 members and 187 collegiate chapters worldwide.
The college sorority provides women with "REAL Leadership" by offering resources, events, and educational programming to its members. Sisters are dedicated to service, with a philanthropic focus on "Building Strong Girls." Gamma Phi Beta partners with local and international organizations such as Girls On the Run, which inspires girls to live healthy and confident lives through engaging and active lessons.
